This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our application(s), for troubleshooting, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

Information automatically collected

TracXY itself does not directly collect or store users' Internet Protocol (IP) addresses or browser information. However, third-party services used to operate and support TracXY, such as Firebase, Google Play Services, and Google Maps Platform, may process certain technical information as necessary to provide their services and maintain functionality.
The information processed through TracXY includes:
- Location Data. TracXY collects precise location information when users grant permission, including foreground and, where enabled by the user, background location data. This information is used to provide driver discovery, route visibility, navigation assistance, ride coordination, event transportation features, and other location-based services. Users may disable location sharing through device settings; however, certain features of the Services may become unavailable.
- Application Activity Data. TracXY processes information related to ride requests, route information, passenger and driver availability status, event transportation arrangements, and other interactions necessary to provide the Services.
- Messaging Data. Information exchanged through TracXY's communication features may be processed and stored to facilitate communication between users regarding transportation arrangements.
- Payment and Transaction Data. When payment features are used, TracXY may process transaction references, payment amounts, booking or ride identifiers, payment status, and related records needed to verify and manage transactions. TracXY does not store full card numbers, CVV numbers, banking passwords, or other sensitive payment authentication credentials.
- Device Information. Limited technical information, such as device type, operating system version, application version, crash diagnostics, and analytics information, may be processed through Firebase and Google Play Services to improve application performance, reliability, security, and user experience.
Third-party services used by TracXY, including Firebase, Google Maps Platform, Google Play Services, and Google Analytics for Firebase, may independently process technical information in accordance with their respective privacy policies. TracXY does not control how these third-party providers process information collected through their services.
Google Maps Platform APIs
TracXY uses Google Maps Platform APIs to provide mapping, navigation, route visualization, and location-based functionality. Information processed through Google Maps Platform APIs is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. Google may process technical information necessary to provide these services in accordance with its own privacy practices. PayFast or another payment service provider may process payment information and transaction data on TracXY's behalf to facilitate and verify payments. TracXY does not store full card numbers, CVV numbers, banking passwords, or other sensitive payment authentication credentials.
We also may need to share your personal information in the following situations:
- Business Transfers. We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.
- When we use Google Maps Platform APIs. We may share your information with certain Google Maps Platform APIs (e.g.
, Google Maps API, Places API). Google Maps uses GPS, Wi-Fi, and cell towers to estimate your location. GPS is accurate to about 20 meters, while Wi-Fi and cell towers help improve accuracy when GPS signals are weak, like indoors. This data helps Google Maps provide directions, but it is not always perfectly precise. We obtain and store on your device ( "cache" ) your location for six (6) months. You may revoke your consent anytime by contacting us at the contact details provided at the end of this document.
TracXY is a mobile application and does not use browser-based cookies. However, third-party SDKs integrated into TracXY, such as Firebase and Google Play Services, may use device identifiers and similar technologies to support app functionality, analytics, crash reporting, and performance monitoring. These are governed by the respective privacy policies of those third-party providers.
5. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
In Short: We keep your information for as long as necessary toWe will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). No purpose in this notice will require us keeping your personal information for longer than 6 months .
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

9. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES
TracXY is a mobile application and does not operate a website that supports Do-Not-Track (DNT) browser signals. We do not respond to DNT signals. You may control data collection and tracking through your mobile device settings, including location permissions, notification preferences, and by reviewing the privacy settings offered by third-party services such as Firebase and Google Play Services.10. TracXY-SPECIFIC ADDITIONAL DISCLOSURES
Location Sharing Controls
TracXY uses location-sharing features to help connect passengers and drivers.
- Drivers can view the locations of passengers who choose to share their location through the app.
- Passengers can view the locations of drivers who choose to share their location through the app.
- Users may disable location sharing at any time through their device settings or within the app where applicable.
- Disabling location sharing may limit or prevent the use of certain TracXY features, including ride requests, driver discovery, route visibility, navigation assistance, and event transportation services.
Payment Processing
TracXY may facilitate payments for certain Services, including deposits or other amounts associated with ride or event transportation arrangements. When you make a payment through TracXY, we may process payment-related information such as the transaction reference, payment amount, booking or ride details, payment status, and information necessary to confirm and reconcile the transaction.
TracXY does not store your full card number, CVV, banking password, or other sensitive payment authentication credentials. Payment card, banking, and other payment credentials are handled by the applicable third-party payment provider, such as PayFast, in accordance with that provider's own privacy policy and security practices.
TracXY may receive confirmation from the payment provider that a transaction was initiated, completed, failed, cancelled, or otherwise processed. We use this information to verify payments, update ride or booking status, maintain transaction records, prevent fraud, provide customer support, and comply with applicable legal and accounting requirements.
Payment providers may independently collect and process personal and financial information required to complete a payment. Their processing of your information is governed by their respective privacy policies and terms.
Background Location Collection
TracXY may collect location information while the application is running in the foreground and, where you have granted permission, while the application is running in the background to provide route visibility, driver discovery, navigation, and location-based transport features.
You may withdraw background location permissions at any time through your device settings. However, doing so may affect the functionality of certain Services.
User-Generated Content
TracXY allows users to create, submit, store, and share information through the Services. This may include ride requests, route and destination information, messages, event-related information, and availability status.
Depending on the features used, information you submit may be visible to other users to help facilitate transportation coordination.

- Route information necessary for transport arrangements.
- Messages exchanged through the platform.

Account Deletion and Data Retention
You may request deletion of your TracXY account and associated personal information by contacting us using the methods provided in this Privacy Notice or by using any account deletion functionality available within the app.
- We will delete or anonymize your personal information where reasonably possible after a verified deletion request.
- Certain information may be retained where necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, maintain security, or satisfy legitimate business requirements.
- Backup copies may persist for a limited period before being permanently deleted.
Google Play Data Safety Disclosures
TracXY's Google Play Data Safety disclosures should accurately reflect the information collected and processed through the application. Depending on the features you use, TracXY may collect and process precise location information, approximate location information, user identifiers, email addresses, messages and communications exchanged through the app, and app activity related to ride requests, route management, and transportation coordination.
